A strong belief of Sun Belt Master's Commission is that you learn ministry by actually doing ministry. This is why the Travel Team is such a vital part of what we do in SBMC. Not only do our students receive their education in the classroom, they also experience what it is to be involved in hands-on ministry training as we travel throughout the country.
Life on the road takes on many different looks, as we visit dozens of churches, youth groups and other ministries each year. The SBMC Travel Team will make several tours to different regions of the country and will minister in churches close to the Mobile area as well. We strive for excellence in everything we present on stage, as we minister through drama and even conduct workshops for groups interested in strengthening their gifting in the dramatic arts.
Over the years, the commitment of our Master's Commission team has remained the same: "Jesus, we will never step on a stage if it isn't for you." This is more than just a statement of why we are involved in the dramatic arts. It is what we instill in our students that no matter where they go in life, our reason for existing is simply to honor and represent the name of Jesus in our world we live in.

Their dramas were great, but it was what was below the surface that impressed me. For example, we had them in to do our Wednesday night youth service, which was awesome! But they also stayed and did a drama workshop for us the following evening. Let me tell you, it was more than a drama workshop! By the end of the evening, my students and the SBMC team were on their face worshiping their Savior!
